Miscanthus Animal Bedding
Miscanthus Animal-bedding which is biodegradable and has been getting rave reviews from horse owners and farmers as it is 3 times more absorbent than shavings. It can be used as an alternative to all animal-bedding currently available. This market has real potential for growth as evidenced by the number of inquiries from suppliers and customers from all over the country. It is very simple to produce requiring only a shredder and a bagging line and as such can be produced wherever the need is greatest. The key here is that farmer’s can be the leaders in this market by investing in a horse-bedding plant as a group and supplying the locally grown Miscanthus.
